These are the vintage oxford type boonie hats that were used by the special ops in the Philippines. The Hat, Sun Hot Weather Type II is waterproof, with a wide brim that makes these great for hot, wet conditions and the cotton nylon blend chin strap with leather stay keeps the hat secure on and in place. Four side brass vent screens help you stay cool in hot conditions too. Manufactured in 2002 in the U.S.A.
