Vintage GI 20mm Projectile Inert Round
WWII 20mm Practice Ball Projectile
These WW2 projectiles measure in at 3 1/2" in length and weighs about 5 oz. The 20 x110 mm round was developed in the 1940's for use in the 20mm aircraft cannon in both American and British aircraft. These were used for practice during the WWII and Korean wars. They actually found that these practice rounds would penetrate armor well and had very few misfires, therefore were a very reliable round and was preferred by gunners as the main round to take down a plane or take out ground targets. Now you can grab one of these RARE inert projectiles as a must for any collector or to use as a unique paper weight on your desk.
